If I could give 0 stars to this joke of a surgery I would but dont get that option. God forbid if you have to ring up in the morning to make an appointment as youll end up ringing for a whole hour and then be told no appointments available. With any other decent surgery you get put through a queue and get seen to when your turn comes but not Harborough Fields. Sick and disgusted by the service, not to mention the receptionists attitude most of the time!!!! Must admit Drs and nurses are good tho.Update in the last few months noticed the surgery got a few new reception staff and must admit they are lovely.Yesterday went to see the nurse with sinus infection and high temperature only to be sent away in a patronising manner, this is the 2nd time shes been patronising. Asked to see a dr for 2nd opinion and they said I can see the duty dr, which i refused to see her as seen the nusrse run into her room after I left. Knew they gonna stick together and dismiss me!!! Had a call to say I can see a different dr which I excepted, only to have a phone call later to say no I cant see the dr they offered , can only see her mate. Basically been told take it or leave it!!! Knew she will just as useless as shell back the other one up.So I waited till evening to ring out of hours to see a dr who cares about his patients and his exact words were U NEED ANTIBIOTICS!!! or could end up with sepsis.Shame on you Harborough Fields, you know who you are, the nurse and dr, you have a duty of care towards your patients, stop reading from a book and say to your patient the book say.....! As a professional you should know you cant always go by the book and follow your own judgement and expertise....thats of course if you give a damn about your patients!!!

That annoyed not really sure what to say.The Doctors and Nurses are great here but it's the wall of arrogance and attitude you have to go through to get in that room.I understand the reception staff must have to put up with "folk" but you chose the job and scary as it may seem but the people that are ringing you are probably not feeling at their greatest lol. Very unprofessional and rude.

To get an appointment you now have to have the patient access app. Great for the youger generation although the slots can get taken by 'let's say non vital appointments'. I find the doctors and nurses polite and succinct but have little experience of administrators.

Don't do the mistake to get registered in here like we did it last year as the receptionist are never polite, they know what are you suffering from the beginning and if u do need a doctor or a nurse they now better everything, don't know why they are going to work sometimes just to be paid I think. If I can share my one year experience with them in one year I seen the doctor maybe twice but my boy has been sick several times and never had a serious investigation with a doctor as they don't consider a child that is having under one year something urgent. This is a serious problem I think u have to be desperate to get an appointment in the morning as the phone is always busy and when finally somebody decides to answer always this excuse we are sorry but all our app are finished.

Rang on Monday (14/5/18) to get a appointment, took nearly 2 and a half hours to get through by which time they had no appointments left. Couldnt ring Tuesday due to work meetings, Just rang today (16/5/18) to be told that they were closed this afternoon as they have training, surely they should do the training on a day they are actually closed?! Ridiculous, customer service is really bad (need to sort out their phone system, only 1 maybe 2 receptionist to answer the phones at the 8am rush) but doctors are brilliant once you actually get to see them!!
