Always find what I need, prices are going up though.

Parked easily and found what I wanted relatively easy too (1 star for each) but when I got to the till I just felt like an inconvenience to the customer assistant Jay. He huffed at the fact I needed to exchange an item and then proceeded to give attitude to his colleagues through his headset and when I questioned the price of one of my items he then also gave me a not so polite response. I dont know whether he was having a bad day at 11am and just needed a minute to gather himself or was in need of some customer service training but I left the store feeling a little insulted. Ive had bad experiences with other branches of Wickes in the past so wanted to avoid it but thought Id give this one a chance. Maybe I was wrong to do that ?
What's happened to Wickes? Reduced stock/variety of timber and tools! I used to buy a lot from wickes but now have to go elsewhere
First time in this refurbished store. Its great. Although the floor space has shrunk, the actually have used the space more effectively and it looks it stocks the same amount of goods, if not, more. Items are easy to find and the new kitchen area is impressive and gives you lots of ideas and inspiration for your own kitchen. Fence panels, wood, coloured gravel etc is outside accessed at the back of the store. Great improvement over the old store lay out. The store lay out may have changed, but the staff are still as helpful and knowledgeable as ever.
