Just bought a years Motorcycle policy in full over the phone. It was the cheapest quote i found, but better coverage and benefits than any other companies i have quotes from.Kev was extremely helpful and informative, done me a good deal, which is better than my current insurer, who wouldn't help me on the bike i have now bought.Hopefully i never have to claim and i will be renewing with MCE next year.Thanks Kev!
I've only given them 1 star because there isn't an option for Zero. They have moved their call centre to another continent and you can NEVER speak to a claims handler, just book an appointment for them to call you 24 hours later. When they moved, their entire phone systems and email were off line for the whole of week commencing 18th Nov ! if their premium looks attractive, BEWARE - what happens when you need to claim - they are the worst insurer I have ever used in 30 years
I have heard a lot of bad things about MCE but I can only comment positively on my experiences (granted, havent had to claim). On my second year of riding and for renewal, MCE were no longer the cheapest. However, I found the team member that dealt with my renewal, Becky, to be extremely polite, informative and helpful and even when the price was very slightly higher than I wanted to pay, she was able to get a very slight discount bringing the price down to where I wanted. If experiences continue like this, MCE will continue to have my business as long as I am riding
