Spencer Park is located off the Washbrook Road, behind Asda. It has two distinct spaces. The space on the right, the west field, has a large open space which is great for walking the dogs. Plenty of doggy poo bins located around the park, so there's no excuse for not cleaning up after your dog has done it's business. Don't forget your poo bags!When you enter, there is an enclosed, pet free play area for tots.To the right of the field, there is a purpose built bmx track.To the top of the field on the right, there are some tennis courts.The path along here connects to the east field.At the top of this field is an enclosed play area for older children, with some more tennis courts to the right.The majority of the field is given over to two football pitches, with a structure containing changing rooms, run by Rushden Town Council.A great park that is often overlooked by Rushden's other open space, Hall Park, a more formal and traditional park. More things to do in this park, with a more active theme. Definitely worth a visit.
