Excellent food and service! It was quite busy but we were very well looked after.

Arrived at 3.30pm on Saturday 29th December. Food was decent but ruined by the noise levels. Asked the head waiter who seated us (slim, dark-haired, glasses, foreign accent) for a quiet table away from the screaming kids. There were plenty of vacant tables on the near side of the restaurant so we were somewhat shocked when he walked across and seated us right next to the noisy party! We should have refused but he said "they've finished and will be gone in 10 minutes". So 10 minutes later he serves them their desserts and goes off duty - can only think he was being a smart-arse and having a laugh at our expense. Finished our meal and left just as said party also left! I guess we should have requested a different table or left but didn't like to make a fuss. I hope the waiter concerned reads this review as it's all very well being a smart-arse but without customers he doesn't have a job. So the next time a polite couple request a quiet table I'd suggest he does his best to accommodate.

If you are a calamari fan then you will be very disappointed. I love good calamari and if I see it on a menu then I have to try it. This calamari was just like the frozen stuff you get at a supermarket, not good. My burger arrived and it was raw in the middle. I am not a fussy eater and I have never complained about food in a restaurant before but there was no problem at all getting it sorted. If the waiter had offered to just cook the burger a little longer that would have been fine but he replaced it completely and then told me the price would be removed from my bill. My wife's prawn pasta dish was perfect. Two stars lost for the calamari and the under cooked burger and one added for the excellent service total four out of five

This is a great location to enjoy your food. Great views across the lake. Food is fantastic. Pasta great. Pizza great. Staff and service fantastic. Food and drink reasonably priced. A great evening out and will definitely return.

Really nice place and the food was great. We both had pizza with my fiancee. For starter I had calamari it was nice, she had Cesar salad wasnt the beat but it wasnt bad too. Although the place was nearly full and very busy we didnt wait long to be served. The waiters working hard but they are kind and helpful. If you are at Rushden Lakes I would definitely recommend to eat here!
