Good beer friendly atmosphere with staff that are multi task
Visited some friends in Rushden and decided to visit the Queens Head in Higham Ferrers for their Cheese & Cider Festival over the bank holiday weekend. Over 15 ciders available and you could taste before you buy, Lilleys Mango and lemon lime cider where great and I also really enjoyed the sharer cheese board. I will back again.
The food is a little lacking (we had pizzas and antipasti and weren't impressed by either), but there is a good selection of beers on offer and the pub has a good atmosphere overall. We ended up spending 6 hours here on Good Friday and enjoyed our time.
